Cats & Small Animals

I have a total of 27 years experience handling and caring for cats. Care for cats includes scooping litter box daily, feeding, watering and play time.

I am also available for extended visits or overnight stays.

Care for small animals, including reptiles, at owner’s instructions.

I have experience handling and caring for both land and aquatic turtles, newts, frogs, and iguanas. Will work with non-venomous, non-aggressive snakes.

Will not handle arachnids including spiders, tarantulas and scorpions.

Dogs

I have 27 years experience working and handling dogs.

Care for dogs includes feeding, watering and play time. There is an additional fee for walking during visits unless the visit is a minimum of 1 hour however no additional fee during overnight stays.

I am available for extended visits and overnight stays.

I ask that you please contact me well in advance to arrange a meet & greet and to ensure I have availability for overnight stays.

For dog walking I ask that the collar and leash be either a harness or another form of non-aggressive restraint. I will not work with chokers, pronged collars, or other collars that can potentially harm the dogs. I do “loose leash” leading and am willing to work with the dog to help develop these skills.

Farm Animals

I have a total of 18 years of experience handling horses. Care typically includes turn in/out, feeding, watering and haying. Additional duties by request for additional fee. Please call for a quote.

I also have experience handling a range of other farm animals and care is dependent on what the owner wishes.

Note: I do not handle unmanageable horses or racehorses due to liability reasons.

Pricing

All referrals that lead to a service will receive a $10 credit.

Now providing a 15% discount for active duty military and veterans.

There is no cost for the initial meet and greet.

I offer a chance for you to Skype with your pet when you are away from home when I have a stable internet connection or, if you have an iPhone, then we can FaceTime with them. There is no additional charge for this perk just the hopeful happiness you get to see your loved one live.

All prices are based on a per-visit rate and vary depending on distance, duration, and gas prices.

All walks begin at $15 for 30 minutes.

Let-out service begins at $15 for 30 minutes.

Pricing for overnight stays begins at $60 per visit and this essentially covers a 24 hour period.

Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in gas prices.

There is no additional charge for weekends, holidays, or the administration of medication.

Typical visit is 30 minutes and there is an additional fee for stays up to extended stays.
